Katherine Ross
Katherine read English at Oxford University. She draws ongoing inspiration from literature, which provides her with nourishment and insights that feed her work with clients.
Before training as a therapist, she worked in financial services. This was not the right environment for her but she is familiar with a range of high intensity working environments. Katherine is invested in helping others identify the conditions that best support the unfolding of their potential and is mindful that these are different for each person.
Katherine has completed a Psychology MSc (BSP) with research on identifying and responding to emotions, as published in the Journal of Addictive Behaviors. She an acute sense of the problems that occur when emotions, or other parts of our experience, are blocked or ignored.
Katherine has also completed an MSc (UKCP) in Person Centred and Experiential Psychotherapy, and this relational approach to therapy frames her work today.
Katherine continues to expand her clinical knowledge through additional trainings that deepen her understanding of how to support each individual. Please feel free to enquire on specific areas of expertise.
Katherine teaches and practices yoga and meditation. These practices foreground a holistic lens and a commitment to supporting clients live a rich and connected life.
